Ideal Tools for Static and Dynamic Culture of 3D Cells and Organoids

  • Single cells and spheroids in hydrogels can be encapsulated on the pillar plate and cultured in the deep well plate and the perfusion plate in static and dynamic conditions.
  • Cell and spheroid loading on the pillar plates can be performed by manual stamping, spheroid transfer, and microarray 3D bioprinting, thus providing several options to users.
  • The pillar plates with 3D-cultured cells can be detached from the perfusion well plate or the deep well plate and sandwiched onto a fresh well plate for medium change and cell imaging. Image acquisition is easy and straightforward as the whole sample depth fits within the focus depth of a normal objective (4x and 10x).
  • Fast flow rates within the perfusion wells in the perfusion plate enhance cell growth by reducing the necrotic core and increase organoid maturity via rapid diffusion of nutrients and oxygen and removal of wastes.
